Το Φοίνιξ ηταν που εξυπηρετησε τας νησους των Κυκλαδων γυρω στο 1900. Το βρισκουμε σε ανακοινωση απο την εφημεριδα Σκριπ στις 14 Δεκεμβριου 1898.
Το πλοιο ανηκε στην Ατμοπλοια Ευσταθιου και Πετρου Μαρκιδου και ειχε 534 τοννους. Eκανε την ταχυδρομικη συγκοινωνια απο την Συρο στην Κωνσταντινουπολη, το Ιονιο και τις Κυκλαδες.
Phoenix was a passenger ship that served Greece around 1900. We find her in an announcement from Skrip on December 14, 1898.
Evangeline belonged to the Markides Shipping Co and had 534 tons! In the insert from Efoplistis of February 1997, A. Tzamtzis mentions the same company. As mentioned in the clip from December 14, 1898, Evengeline was doing the mailing service from Syros to Constantinople, to Cyclades, but also to Patras and the Ionian islands.
