Prinkips Georgios was a small Greek cargo/passenger ship with a short history before and during World War I. She was built as the ship Rosendael by Southampton Naval Works in Woolston and belonged to Weatherley, Mead & Hussey of London. She had 448 tons, a length og 48.8 m and a width of 7.3 m

Here is a schedule of the ship to Alexandria, announced on July 12, 1916

Just a month or so later, she was lost... Miramar indicates a fire in Malta on August 9, 1916 and indicates the ship was subsequently "scuttled offshore".

The news took some time to arrive in Greece and is reported in Embros of August 30, 1916

Ως προς τις ιδιοκτησιακές μεταβολές του, το ΠΡΙΓΚΗΨ ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ αρχικά ανήκε στη Νεα Ελληνική Ατμοπλοΐα που δημιουργήθηκε το 1893 κυρίως από εφοπλιστές εμπλεκόμενους και στην "Παλαιά" Ελληνική Ατμοπλοΐα. Τότε καταγγέλθηκε το συμβόλαιο ναύλωσης των πλοίων της "Παλαιάς" που είχε υπογράψει ο ΜακΔούαλ και τα πλοία περιήλθαν στη Νέα Ε.Α. Όμως το ΠΡΙΓΚΗΨ ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ δεν πέρασε ποτέ από τον ΜακΔούαλ αλλά αγοράστηκε τρία χρόνια αργότερα απευθείας από τη Νέα Ε.Α.
Όταν το 1906 και αυτή πτώχευσε το πλοίο εκπλειστηριάστηκε στη νεοσύστατη Ατμοπλοΐα Ερμουπόλεως που είχε δ/ντη τον Ηλία Φουστάνο.
Το Γενάρη 1916 πουλήθηκε στους Βλασσόπουλους και μετανηολογήθηκε από τη Σύρο στην Ιθάκη, αλλά ένα χρόνο αργότερα άλλαξε και πάλι χέρια για να καταστραφεί λίγους μήνες αργότερα.
