Υπάρχει το παρακάτω FALAISE για το οποίο οι ειδικοί παρακαλούνται να αποφανθούν αν είναι αυτό του θέματος.
Λοιπον το πρωτο ΠΙΝΔΟΣ φαινεται οτι ηταν το γιωτ (θαλαμηγος) FALAISE το 1899 που ανηκε αρχικα στον Forrester Britten και ειχε 194 τοννους οταν ναυπηγηθηκε. Ο ιδιος Britten ειχε ενα αλλο μικροτερο γιωτ με το ιδιο ονομα που ναυπηγηθηκε το 1896.
At last, more accurate information about the first PINDOS.
The first PINDOS seems to have been a small yacht, the FALAISE that belonged to Forrester Britten when she was built in 1899. The same Britten had a smaller FALAISE that he built in 1896. Forrester Britten died in 1903.

Το πλοιο ναυπηγηθηκε στο ναυπηγειο Day Summers & Co οπου ειχαν ναυπηγηθει διαφορα μικρα προπολεμικα επιβατηγα που ταξιδεψαν στν Ελλαδα.
The ship was built at Day Summers & Co where several other pre-war yachts/passenger ships had been built.

Το Lloyd Register του 1901 αναφερει μηκος 127,6 ποδων και πλατος 18,5 ποδων
The 1901 Lloyd Register mentions a length of 127.6 ft and a width of 18.5 ft.

The ship is NOT the SEA BELLE II which appears in the wonderful photos of Brown in http://www.flickr.com/photos/snapsg/...7612539145989/, no matter how nice she looks and how close to the post-war PINDOS she might look.
