Just out of drydock in Lisbon the lovely Arion now renamed Porto in the new livery of Portuscale Cruises. She looks very smart in the dark hull and funnel colours. This classic livery was used by Empresa Insulana on the original Funchal when it was first operated and hopefullt the rest of the fleet will be given th esame treatment (Lisboa ex Princess Danae, Azores ex Athena and Funchal)

I really wish this new company well as its great news that these classic ships will be given anew lease of life. Well done to the Portuguese company with this venture!

The colours remind me of the previous livery of saga Cruises (Saga Rose/Ruby, Saga pearl etc.) very smart indeed.

Great news at last Henry. Let's hope that a company specializing in cruises with vintage classic ships will attract passengers of a different kind, our kind, for affordable and intimate cruising on small scale yachtlike classic ships. Let's wait for the outcome of the experiment.
