George this is a superb photo of Regina Magna. She was an imposing and beautiful liner and looked splendid in Chandris colours. What a shame she saw so little service with them. She was obviously expensive to operate and very fuel hungry!
Here is a selection of pages from some of her brochures (1972-1974) plus a photo card. In addition to her European cruises she apparently also operated some Caribbean cruises for Chandris during winter 1973/74.

Many thanks for another superb brochure from Chandris. You are right, she spent very little time with Chandris. Obviously the timing for such ships was not good as the fuel costs skyrocketed during 1973-74.
Thank you Henry! Wonderful brochure.
I have been studying North German Lloyd ships for years... The Bremen was an incredible ship with a wonderful history! My only problem was her very tall funnel, which -frankly- in the NDL was not as bad as it was light gold but in Chandris's version was bright blue and protruded rather asymmetrically
Fuel hungry and with faulty engines, the REGINA MAGNA was one of Chandris' few ships that failed to suceed. Pitty, for she was a beautiful liner.
The photo in the second scan is surely a -not very well- retouched photo of BREMEN. I guess that they did'nt had the time to shoot the real ship at the time of the printing.
here a dckplan from the MAGNA
my model from this liner became place 4 by the wincontest 2009 mag_1000x750_500KB.jpgwww.kartonist.de
Congratulations Andy!
