Here are the photos and brochure of Odessa Sun (ex Uzbekistan)
sistership to Olympic Flame. The photos I think were taken in Rhodes and the brochure is from 1993 (don't know whether these cruises actually operated?). Interesting itinerary though as it included the Tremiti Islands and Lefkas as ports of call which is quite unusual.

ODESSA SUN was the first cruise ship of Odessa Cruises, and a sister to OLYMPIC FLAME.
Odessa Cruises was a joint venture between Ilias Trohidis and the Russian shipping company. I suppose that Trohidis had the management of the ship and not the actual ownership.

Her first cruise was done in June 1991 from Piraeus to Limassol-Haifa-Limassol-Rodos-Kusadasi-Santorini-Mykonos-Piraeus.
Like her sister she also flew the Maltese flag.

In 1997 she was arrested at Haifa and auctioned in 1988 to Ukraine.
There is some speculation in the web that in 1998-99 she re-entered service for Eurocruises and Go Cruises respectively. Can anyone verify this?
In 2001 she was scrapped at Aliaga as the OMEGA.

Here are some shots from the 1991 presentation to the press, from the maritime magazine Elnavi. The title of the article was "cruiseship made in Perama".
