Rogerio, this the KYPROS of the well-known (today) cypriot Hadjiioannou family (Easy jet).
She was originally built in 1932 as the LOFOTEN for service in the Norwegian fjords. She came in Greece in 1964 and following a facelift, she entered service between Brindisi, Piraeus, Rodos, Limassol and Haifa.
Unfortunately in 1966 she was destroyed by fire off Haifa and had to be scrapped.
We have briefly mentioned her, here with some photo from a norwegian site.
Check also here, for her story plus photos in Norwegian.
And a couple of snapshots from a (title unknown) old greek movie.
In the first one as she sails through the Corinth Canal, the logos LH (Loucas Hadjiioannou) are shown in her funnel.
Thanks for this thread Rogerio and Aris. She was my next subject for Nautilia as I had seen photos of her in several shipping books and knew very little about her origins.........but you beat me to it.
Thank you again for all the information
Henry.
According to Laurence Dunn's book Mediterranean Shipping, KYPROS was the first passenger ship to fly the Cypriot flag.
Cyprus Sea Cruises was intenting to introduce a second ship, check here.
The following photo comes from that book.

Dear Ellinis
Thank you very much for all the information !
Henry if you have available any brochure of KYPROS whose images you could post here ..that would be great !!!
Rogerio
I only wish I had ! No unfortunately I don't have anything at all on this very interesting ship, only the same picture as above from the same book by Laurence Dunn.
If I come across anything I will certainly let you know and post in this thread
Best regards Henry
I noticed that in Rogerio's cart postal there is a car loaded on top of the forward cargo area. I guess that she was quite obsolete next to the car ferries EGNATIA and APPIA.
I did some "work" on this scetch, of what the rebuilding in Greece included, here is the outcome:
