What a strange ship!!!! What is this on Taygetos' stern? A Japanese pagoda?
Taygetos.jpg
She was built in 1893 at Liverpool as a passenger/cargo ship with the name St. Brieuc. She had many incarnations, including one with the Daoud Farkouh shipping company, an Ottoman company serving also Greece. She became Taygetos in 1925 and stayed in the Greek seas until she was wrecked in 1931 south of Crete (what was she doing there?)
