Calidon was built as
Albion by Todd & McGregor of Glasgow in 1865. She had just 250 tons, a length of 50.7 m and a width of 6.4 m.

Albion was built for the
Glasgow & Stranraer Steam Packet Company of Glasgow. In 1868 she was bought by the
London & Edinburgh Shipping Co of Leith.
In 1880 she was sold to
Lloyd Austro-Ungarico and named
Pan (See

NorthWest Railway Company of Greece in 1891, moved to Greece and named
Calidon!!!
