Trying to find details , pictures of ship my father sailed on in 1922. It was the
GOIZEKO IZARRA owned by Ramon de la Sota
Formerly
TUSCARORA built in 1897 at Greenock ID no 5511034.
........
I believe that its original Official No was 105584
Crew agreements and ships log some of which are in Newfoundland Canada up to 1936 including 1922

........
Bit confused as on the Miramar List she was built as
TUSCARORA and changed to
GOIZEKO IZARRA in 1911 and then
ANATOLI in 1946, On the clydebuilt site she is shown as a change in 1922 from
GOIZEKO IZARRA to TUSCARORA?
.........
Miramar states:
[1946 cv to cargo ship] -
11 GOIZEKO IZARRA - 23 TUSCARORA - 46 ANATOLI - 52 EVGENIA - 68 ALHELAL
When you drill down by official number the change over 1922/3? is missing. Probably just a typo on Miramar.
Yacht
TUSCARORA was a merchant vessel, hired by the Admiralty as an anti-submarine yacht for use between 1940 and 1945 and based at Campbeltown, Scotland. I have seen her mentioned as
TUSCARORA and also
HMS TUSCARORA. So it would seem that the name change 1922 - 1946 is correct.
